I will say that I am kind of happy that I'm not doing double

episodes because I have time to get back into my regular schedule, but I also kind of

miss being so busy. So you may see some bonus episodes coming up in the future, but as of right now, I'm happy for the break.

This episode is a really heavy episode, but it is necessary because of the topics that we will be getting into this year.

I wanted to get into this topic last year, but I just didn't really have the time to do it the way I wanted to and so we're starting it now.

This topic has come up in multiple episodes in the past year and in multiple documentaries that have

come out lately and documentaries that we will be getting into and watch parties on the discord as well.

But that is the topic of sexual abuse and specifically child sexual abuse.

I know it's a really heavy topic and I want to give you guys enough content warnings in these types of

episodes so you can choose whether or not you're ready to listen to it.

But I will say that today is really strictly educational and we are talking with Dr. Amy Salzman MD about how to spot a spider and her method of going about talking to our children and understanding what

coercive control looks like. So in this episode we talk about overt and covert abuse,

we talk about grooming and there's mentions of suicidal thoughts. But like I said, this is one of those intersectional topics that I didn't really think whatever come up when talking about MLMs and in doing research into cults and coercive control it has come up a lot more than expected.
