On December 7, 2003, 13-year-old Daniel Morecambe decided to spend his Sunday shopping at the Sunshine Plaza to find Christmas gifts for his family.

In order to get there, he would have to take a 20-minute bus ride to the location.

While he waited for the bus, that he did not know was broken down, Daniel could have never guessed that a predator was

lying in wait behind him, looking to take advantage of the boy's unfortunate situation.

Police say the suspect, 31-year-old Jeffrey Dahmer has confessed to the killings of 11 people whose remains were found in his

apartment. We are all evil in some form or another. Are we not? Lock your doors, lock your windows.

In December of 2003, 13-year-old Daniel Morecam lived at 116 womb by Palm Woods Road with his twin brother Bradley,

their older brother, Dean, and his parents, Bruce and Denise.

Their neighborhood of Palm Woods is located in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, which is on the country's east coast.

But Palm Woods is not a coastal town. It sits in the foothills of the Black All Range and lies 17 to 20 kilometers or 10 to 12 miles west of the coast, and is known to be a place of rural rest and

relaxation, for those looking to live a slower-paced life, but still have access to the amenities

cities and coastal towns have to offer. It had the best of both worlds, and was Bruce and Denise decided the perfect place to raise their three boys.

On Sunday, December 7th, Bruce had originally planned for the family to attend a Christmas function in Brisbane, which is a little over an hour's drive south.
