Every now and then we can get a prediction right.

Normally the predictions we get right are the ones of the easiest to make.

An example of that yesterday, we said a couple of days ago, the one thing that you won't hear from Georgia as it kicks off spring practice, any grand proclamations, any sort of predictions for greatness, any kind of like big talk that necessarily goes

excessively viral, that's just not really Georgia's style.

And yesterday was another example of that in contrast, by the way, to a team like Ohio

State that seems to have been very comfortable saying those kinds of things here this

spring.

We knew that Georgia wouldn't really do that.

But we also knew that Kirby Smart would

probably strike some familiar tones, some things that he said before. And, you know, one of the things

that he did sort of talk a little about yesterday is Georgia kicks off spring practice is that, you know,

this is a team that's still going to be trying to figure out what its identity is, that it's not about

any kind of carry over from the previous year, that every

season invites an opportunity for reinvention, and the spring practice time of year

creates the opportunity for Georgia to do just that. We obviously expect Kirby Smart to say

that, and I would say in the roundabout way, that's probably, for the most part, mostly true.
