So Kelsey and I had our engagement photos taken this weekend, last weekend, however you want to term that a few days ago.

Now the question you may be asking yourself is, didn't they get engaged in September?

Why are they taking their engagement photos six months later? Well, reader, that's a great question. I didn't even think about that,

but that is true. Yeah, it's something to which I don't have a great answer. Don't have a great

response. But that's how it worked out. Well, and better late than never, I always say.

I guess so. And so what happened is we went to Jacksonville, not because Jacksonville is a very

special place, but because that's where our photographer lives. Good, good. And we don't have the

budget to pay her to go anywhere else. Yeah. Is she going to be your wedding photographer? Yes, she is.

And she's super good. Her name's Stephanie Keeler, Stephanie with an F, if anybody wants to look her up.

Highly recommend.

I think she does beautiful work.

Which is why we picked her.

So we went to Jacksonville.

We were supposed to do a Sunday evening sunset era, era?

No.

Sunset.

Time. Yep. Sunset era. no sunset time yep sorry Sunset era could not think of the word sunset time shoot not because we love sunset

because that's the golden hour the golden hour you look angelic and so the thing

about golden hours it happens twice a day yep super early and the thing about Sundays that it rained all twice a day. Yep. Super early in the morning.

And the thing about Sunday is that it rained all day in Jacksonville. It did. The weather was not great, actually. It was quite chilly, too. Yeah. It was cold. I don't know what outfits you guys had picked out, but it was not springy. Well, yeah. We're having a fall wedding. and so we were still shooting for kind of a fall aesthetic.
