So you kind of know the drill.

You know where we are in the college football calendar or the football calendar in general. The season, in a lot of ways, never feels as far away as it does right now. We're just post-Super Bowl. We're still a little ways away from the start of spring practice. We're kind of in the true winter of our offseason here. Now, we believe that there's always college football stuff

to talk about. We love that. That's what we do to show each and every day. Cannot be dog nation daily

unless you do it each and every day. And that is, of course, what we are all about here. But

it does give you the freedom sometimes to sort of stretch your legs and sort of do some things that

in a different time of year,

you perhaps would not have the time to be able to do. And so that is what we're going to do today.

This seems like a really good time to sort of make fun of Alabama and laugh at the, what is being

described as panic. And that's not my word, by the way. That's the word that some around Alabama are

using. Panic on the part

of Alabama fans about how the first month or so on the job for Kalin DeBoer is playing out.

You know the story as it relates to Ryan Grubb. Grub was brought here to be offensive

coordinator in Tuscalo, only to leave that job and go be offensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks,

taking the offense line coach with him. You've got a strength guy that's going to, you know,

moving out there as well. But it's the offensive, it's the offensive coordinator position

that's causing the most angst around Alabama here right now. I think if you're a Georgia fan,

you ought to get your popcorn ready, you ought to settle in and enjoy all of this. It looks like the replacement for Ryan Grub is going to end up being Nick Sherrod. And that's a guy that knows Caleb DeBore well and a guy that was brought to Alabama to be tight ends coach. Now he's going to get the promotion. It appears based on some reporting that's out there. He's going to get the promotion, it appears, based on some reporting that's out there.

He's going to get the promotion to become offensive coordinator here.
