Nick De Gregorio is a candidate running in New Jersey's 5th Congressional district. At the age of 16, the September 11th attacks literally hit close to home. Living just 12 miles from Ground Zero, Nick, and his high school classmates could hear the fighter jets scrambling to respond as they watched the towers collapse on the news. He knew that day that he would volunteer to fight for his country in uniform. Over the course of nine years, Nick deployed four times, fighting in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Post military service Nick explored a career in the financial sector, becoming an equity derivatives sales trader at Bank of America. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and Masters Degrees from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and the Walsh School of Foreign Service, with distinction.
