Hope in sports is a funny thing.

I say that because if you are a fan of a bad team and a bad franchise,

it really doesn't take much for you to get your hopes up, right?

Doesn't take you much to get excited. Whereas if you are a

fan of a team that's a perennial winner, such as the New York Yankees, or if you were a

fan of the Celtics, the Lakers or the Montreal

Canadians you get my drift you can get spoiled but when you are a fan of a bad team, you're not really spoiled because all you want is something

to be happy about when you root for your team.

I use this year as a great example in the National Football League
