Summary

As women, we are often made to feel like our accomplishments are not worth celebrating, or that the struggles we go through are just something we have to bear with a smile. Whether intentional or not, this messaging can come from strangers, our governments, work, and even people we know. There are many days where we can be hard on ourselves, when it feels like things are not going as planned. So this Women’s History Month, we want to take a moment to celebrate the people and moments in life (big or small) that give us strength and make us feel empowered. Through the ups and downs of life, our sisters and close girlfriends uplift us and make us feel like badasses. Even if the world tells us we are “past our prime,” we take pride in our life experiences and practices that sustain us. May this episode be a tonic on a rough day. Or an energy boost on a good day! It’s a love note to our ABGs, and for ourselves, and a reminder that we have always been enough. __________________________________________ Hosts: Melody Cheng, Janet Wang, Helen Wu Contributing Editor: Haemee Kang Editor: Michelle Hsieh __________________________________________ P A R T N E R S • Liquid IV: Receive 20% off your order using promo code ABG at liquid-iv.com • Lume Deodorant: New customers get $5 off a Lume Starter Pack with code ABG at LumeDeodorant.com __________________________________________ C O N N E C T W I T H U S • Subscribe and Follow us @asianbossgirl on Apple Podcasts/Spotify/Amazon Music/YouTube/Instagram/Twitter/Facebook • Listener Survey: Let us know your thoughts on the podcast here • Shoutouts: Give a shoutout on the podcast here • Email: [email protected] __________________________________________ S U P P O R T U S • Merch: asianbossgirl.myshopify.com • Donate: anchor.fm/asianbossgirl/support • More about us at asianbossgirl.com Learn more about your ad choices.
