Hi to all my friends in podcast land. This is Sally Clarkson and I am sitting in my home.

I have a little bit of a cold so you will hear my deep bass voice today and it is so cold outside

today. I think the high was somewhere in the 40s and it was a little bit moist and I think because

I have a little fever, I thought I just want to stay home and go to bed which isn't like me.

But I do find that I do not like to be cold and so Clay was the hero today because he actually

figured out how to turn our heater on upstairs and it was just a flick of a button on our water heater.

We had all the right things turned on upstairs but we did not have our water heater knob turned

to the heating unit. We have three different heaters in a very tiny flat because it's very old.

So, or heating systems I should say and besides that we have this funny little gas burner

in our living room so at any rate we should be able to figure out how to be warm enough

within the next day or two. But as I come to this chapter today it's really one of my, I always say

this about so many things but it is a chapter that is very dear to my heart. It's if my table could talk

discovering a vision for table discipleship. And I love what I love this quotation by Ralph

Waldo Emerson he says the love of beauty is taste but the creation of beauty is art.

And I would say the creation of life beauty in your home is art the way that you

serve people by putting the touches of your favorite color or your favorite flower or perhaps

stone, a little pile of stones that you found at the beach or maybe like for me I traveled and

worked a little bit in China and so I have these myriads of Pejmina scarves that I got for about
