He and his wife, Casey, along with their three kids, live and serve in Papua, Indonesia as missionaries.

What's it like to live in Papua?

The daily chores of life take a little more work.

No dishwasher, no dryer, no clean drinking water.

But on the other hand, I never have to check the weather app.

is, is it dangerous to live in Papua? He answers honestly, yes, we've got poisonous snakes,

intertribal violence, very limited medical resources, tropical diseases.

The list goes on. It's dangerous. At this point, people will typically ask him, well,

aren't you afraid? That's a tough one to answer, he writes. Aren't you afraid? I find it puzzling how in a relatively safe place like the

U.S. I see people who are consumed by fear, he says, and I'm not just talking about non-Christians.

Plenty of believers seem to live their lives focused on their fears. Think about it honestly,
