there were a few more big- time free agent transactions, I figured why not reveal what I think about them, give you my perspective and outlook for the 2020 season. So here's a bonus show on the Apple Podcast app, Stitcher, Google Play, however you stream it for all of you loyal listeners.

So we'll get right to it.

I want to talk about first Todd Gurley.

He signed a one-year, $6 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons.

It wasn't, we'll say, a surprise at the Rams cut bait.

For weeks, we've known they've been shopping early in hopes to have some

casualty and maybe a middle round pick in return for flipping him, but no teams

are going to buy into that.

They knew the writing was on the wall and the Rams at some point we're going to have to

cut bait because they have to allocate so much money to other players like Jared

Gough, Aaron Donald,

and not even Brandon Cooks, he's on the trade block. So Todd Gurley being cut should not have come

a surprise. It's just always shocking to see a name of that magnitude actually being released

just because you know the talent is superb. But nonetheless, the transaction is contingent

upon Gurley passing a physical right now, given the state of the world that it's just not possible.

I mean, it did work for Tom Brady because the Patriots and Buccaneers agreed that a Patriots doctor could give him that test or somewhere wherever Brady was located.

Apparently Atlanta and the Rams have not agreed to that.

So until this is officially completed,

a girl he isn't on that roster,
