Perhaps it's best illustrated by an ancient Arabian folk tale that goes something like this.

Once in a vast desert, a traveler set up his tent for the night.

As the freezing winds swept across the dunes, a camel approached seeking refuge.

The traveler being kind and compassionate, allowed the

camel to stick its nose inside the tent to escape the cold. Grateful for the warmth, the

camel asked if he could place its head inside.

Still wishing to be kind, the traveler agreed.

However, as the night wore on, the camel maneuvered more and more of its body into the tent, taking up all the space,

eventually pushing the traveler completely outside where he ultimately froze to death. In 2017, a wealthy doctor in his 70s met a young

beautiful woman on the verge of homelessness. Wanting to help her out, he began paying her rent, and just like the folk tale, she quickly began asking for more and more and more.
