and giants, oh my. Too bad John doesn't have Toto. I mean ghost, whatever his dog is called.

A dragon or three could be useful too. Know anyone who has any?

I don't. I think we're fresh out of dragons. It's a classic, classic supply chain problem.

I blame inflation. So our spoiler warning, as usual, prepare to be spoiled for all five A Song of Ice and

Fire novels, the three Dunkin' Egg novellas, any histories, interviews, winds of winter sample

chapters, as well as Game of Thrones

and House of the Dragon, the TV shows. Anything and everything. Our question this episode comes

from one of our patrons, Lauren, who asks, will there be any giants left at the end of the story?

Thanks, Lauren, bummer question. But what do you think we do? I think we're going to have one giant,

five giants,

negative 10 giants somehow. Oh, I hope not negative 10. Are those like white giants? Like we

that's like, zombie giants count is negative technically. So I guess we'll probably get into a negative

count for a little bit. But I do think at the end, it is a zero-sum game. I haven't really thought about this in this specific detail,

but I've generally hewed to the idea that a lot of magic might die out from the world

or something maybe akin to what we saw on the show where Drogon perhaps returns to Valeria.

You know, maybe that's magic retreating to the corners of the world or, you know, something like that.

But I definitely view kind of a less mystical Westeros existing after endgame, whatever it is.
