So I want to begin today by saying something's probably a little bit weird, and if I really gave myself a chance to think about this, maybe I might say I don't

fully mean this, but it's just kind of on my mind right now, that there is something about the last

two years for Georgia national championship seasons that did not provide me with something that I

actually kind of missed a little bit.

And this is a very weird thing to say.

I totally admit this.

But because Georgia was the reigning national champion, I wasn't as excited about like

the preseason chatter, the off season type stuff that I typically enjoy.

Normally there's a lot of excitement about looking ahead to the next season.

Because in most years, Georgia's like every other team in college football, with the exception of one,

you're talking about what you need to do to kind of get to the top of the college football world.

And you are excited about the upcoming year because something about the previous year didn't

exactly provide you with exactly what you

wanted. And so therefore, in college football, one of my favorite things, because most of us who

love this sport kind of consume every piece of information available about it, like 12 months

out of the year, 52 weeks out of the year, 365 days out of the year, even 24 hours per day.

And if college football news breaks, we're there for it

whenever it is. And so for those of us who live for college football, who love the idea of

seeing our team win as many games as it can win, there's always this race to kind of start

that conversation as quick as possible. As soon as the calendar year changes, it's all about boom, what do you do to
