Hi, everybody. It's Kid Midas, the original dad griever. I am down here in North Carolina with a couple

announcements. First of all, we're not going to have a regular episode this week. You're going to have to

wait to hear our hot takes about George Santos being indicted or North Carolina state Republicans

trying to ban abortion after 12 weeks or CNN airing a Donald Trump town hall meeting or whatever that was.

Unfortunately, those hot takes must be postponed.

I'm still dealing with my dad's death and my brother and I are helping my mom prepare to

transition to a different level of care.

So there's just, I'm sorry, I just don't have enough time to record and then edit another

world-class episode of your favorite podcast, which is called election profit makers in case

you've forgotten.

So in the meantime this week, we're going to post a Patreon episode that was formally

available only to our wonderful patrons. This is an episode

about fashion and clothing, which is an evergreen topic near and dear to everyone's heart,

especially mine, since I realized, amazingly, that I actually live kind of close to the Rick

Owen's boutique in Los Angeles. And as soon as I return to California, I hope to start posting daily audio diaries as I

try to get a job working for the amazing fashion designer Rick Owens. Thank you all for your

lovely messages and words of support about my dad. I really do appreciate that for those of you

who made donations to Habitat Free Humanity of Orange County, North Carolina.

In his memory, that's also a lovely gesture.
