Summary
The team behind Lessons from the Screenplay breaks down the narrative of The Dark Knight Rises to extract storytelling lessons and explore the kinds of tools writers can use to address various problems in their stories. In particular, we look at the design of Bane's character, the complicated nature of Bane's plan, and the struggle of balancing so many supporting characters.
