Summary

What does it mean to be transformed, changed, and reshaped as an antidote to being conformed to the world? In this episode, Sally ponders these ideas as she discusses chapters four and five of the Life-giving Table and teaches us about how family culture has the distinct and grace-giving power to both change and protect us. She inspires listeners to instill a sense of "this is who we are" and "this is what we believe" into the hearts of her children as they gather at the table, and gives tools to not only create a vision to define our own family culture, but to practically cultivate a legacy.

from every possible background, different languages and of course several of my children

1:19.4

are here studying and I talk to Nathan all the time about these issues and it seems that

there are so many kids who grew into young adults who grew up in Christian homes but they

lose their faith in the university or they are confronted by all of these very contemporary

theological ideas and they're challenged and of course they're lonely and they want

1:46.8

to have a girlfriend or boyfriend. There's a lot of temptation and morality and so I'm

1:53.0

seeing over and over again as I go into this whole grouping of the 24 family ways as well

as teaching Proverbs and I'm realizing again and I hope you don't think I'm just the same

teeth in Eastern Europe was about understanding clearly that discipleship, Jesus passing on the

understanding of truth, of ideas, of wisdom, of what it looked like to live with integrity, to
