I have a big problem with Florida coach Billy Napier.

And I want to kind of walk you through this.

The concern that I have for the Georgia-Florida rivalry,

the role that I believe that Napier is playing and kind of watering this down a little bit.

And the demand that I have for the team that's the little brother

in this rivalry, Florida, at least right now, to get their act together and start making this

feel fun again, because we need some real juice in the Georgia, Florida rivalry. And right now,

Billy Napier, the Florida coach, who is as dull as dishwasher. He's just not quite getting that

done for me here at the moment. Let's talk about this. Now, quick history lesson. There was a time

not all that long ago, while for the most part, Georgia was still winning every year in the Georgia

Florida rivalry, that the game itself felt like it had a lot of juice. And a lot of that was

because Dan Mullin, the Florida coach at the time, was this media

darling.

And the caricature that got drawn was, is that, well, Kirby Smart may be the better

recruiter, but therefore Dan Mullen must be the better in-game tactician.

And that Kirby is just some sort of caveman, you know,

ah, football, recruiting. And like, that's all Kirby Smart was capable of doing. But Dan Mullen was

some sort of diabolical genius. And the logical fallacy that people kind of bought into was,
