Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Stephen King cast, one man's musings on the works of Stephen King.

Once I reviewed each of his works in the chronological order of publication, but Ka is a wheel, it all goes round again, and here I am once more on the newest phase of the journey, one that will examine each of the endings to the works of Stephen King

in the mission to determine whether or not Stephen King deserves the reputation that he has

for having an inability to successfully land his endings.

The focus of the podcast will be to examine the climax, falling action, and resolution of

the endings to each of his novels and break it down by character's themes and conflict

and plot to determine whether or not it meets the criteria of being an objectively good

ending.

I will also weigh in on whether or not I happen to personally, subjectively like the ending.

And today I am here again to discuss, except this time, specifically the ending to

Leesie's story.

So, again, for longtime listeners of the show,

you'll know that I'm not the biggest fan of this story,

despite the fact that Stephen King has stated

that this is his most personal story that he has ever written.

I have not watched the Apple TV adaptation of it, and it will be interesting for me to once again dive back into a text that I just never have really liked to start to parse out this particular aspect of the show. Let's see, see hey does it hold up in terms of the

ending is it is it a worthwhile ending even though I might not happen to like the

story it's going to be interesting so let's find out but first I would like to read
