You know, I'll be honest, I'm no different than many of you.

I kind of operate the same way than any football fan would operate. Obviously, I love talking Georgia football because it's my job, but also because Georgia football is my favorite team. And we have a fan-oriented conversation around here. That means that we kind of go through the ebbs and flows and the emotion that any typical fan would go through. When a Brock Bowers injury occurs, obviously there's a sense of like devastation when that first happens. I mean, Bowers is a terrific football player. In addition to being very valuable, he's also just fun to watch. And so clearly when Bowers deals with an injury, there's a sense at the beginning of that, which is, oh, you know, that's just, you know, not what you want to hear. But as time goes on, you know, fans kind of return to sort of a normal mindset and sort of a normal state of being,

which means that optimism kind of creeps back into the picture and you sort of start to get a little bit of a fresher perspective of, you know,

maybe this is not quite as bad as it initially appeared

that it might be. Maybe in this case, Georgia, maybe Georgia's chances of overcoming this

are a little better than maybe your first blush reaction to this might would have been.

We will get to, I think, a very specific reason for George today, why maybe that's true.

I'm going to give you just sort of a simple stat, easy for everybody everybody to understand that actually suggests that, you know what, Georgia's probably,

or at least has a very good chance to maybe be okay here. We'll get to that here coming up

in just a moment. Prior to that, Kirby Smart also spoke last night. His only kind of official

press conference media availability here of this week. And the topic of

Brock Bowers, you might imagine, was heavy on his mind. And one of the things we'll begin with

here is from Kirby Smart. You know, on Monday I asked John Stinchcombe. I said, you know, John,

you don't like to think about this, but it is true. Brock Bowers has a very, very lucrative NFL

future we would believe ahead of him.

How much does he need to be thinking about that right now as opposed to just coming back and helping Georgia go for three and 23, as we like to say?

How much should Brock Bowers be kind of weighing both of those considerations?
