It's a bit different than my usual content.

I'm going to sort of pivot this week and discuss what it's titled.

Best criteria for evaluating prospects.

Most of my episodes are very stat-based, analytic-based, and there still will be

stats and different metrics included in this episode, but it's more theory and strategy-oriented.

I think it's a great topic to discuss as we lead up to the NFL Combine and what should

be a loaded 20-20 crop of rookies. What I'm going to do is describe it, I think, are the big three

umbrellas of

criteria for evaluating prospects. At least it's how I look at them each and every year. And I'll

discuss the in-betweens, the in-and-outs of each of those respective umbrella categories and what to

look for when studying film, looking at these players in college, the combine, and as they eventually

land on NFL teams.

And then I'm going to go through examples, hopefully to help give you some more insight

based on these categories, criteria from the 2019 rookie class, 2018, and 2017 classes as well,

to sort of round it into a three-year sample size and use all the information,

all the data, and apply it to the 2020 class in a matter of months here.
