How can things change so much in 24 hours?

Yes. Or 24, what has it been? It's been like 18 hours.

We're not going to have that problem of keeping you grounded for today's show.

In the bottom of the eighth or the bottom of the top of the ninth last night,

so about 10 o'clock last night, I was looking at a team that was, I don't know,

going to what, 10, 11 games above 5,000, heading towards 11 games above 500, right?

Extending their lead to the wildcar race, maybe gaining, they were maintaining their distance from the Royals, right?

Still going to be the second best team in the American League.

And that all happened on the help of a sacrifice fly by the rookie DH who's come up and lit fire with Miguel Seno.

And now like 24 hours, I'm staring at two losses and a hurt DH. What's going on? Yeah. And we're back to everyone hating the closer, which I saw on Twitter. Nobody hates the closer. I'll show you some tweets I got. That's how, oh, well, you know, it was a good streak for Perkins. You're building a straw dog with a dog. I'll show you actual tweets.
