| 0:00.0 | Hello, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Detroit Lions Breakdown podcast. |
| 0:08.1 | I'm Joe Kenya, and I shouldn't say with me as always, as Eric Schlett, because I haven't been around in the last few weeks. |
| 0:14.7 | But Eric Schlett is always here, Eric Schlitt ofprided Detroit.com. |
| 0:21.3 | It's nice to see you, Joe. No, well, thank you..com. It's nice to see you, Joe. |
| 0:23.0 | No, well, thank you. |
| 0:24.3 | It's good to see you as well. |
| 0:25.8 | You know, it was the whirlwind last couple weeks, |
| 0:28.9 | but hopefully we're, |
| 0:30.7 | have everything behind us now. |
| 0:32.9 | And we can get back to talking about Lions football here every week. |
| 0:36.8 | Sadly, |
| 0:44.3 | week one, we lost the San Francisco 49ers, 4133, although it depends how you look at it, right? |
| 0:44.9 | Sure. |
| 1:12.6 | You know, there's some people who are, you know, because there are people upset that they lost, which is, you know, I don't know why you'd be that upset because, well, you know, they're not supposed to be this good this year, you know? Like, so why would you expect them to beat the 49ers? But at the same time, the Lions, you know, had this huge rally back. Yeah. You know, at one point down, what, 38 to 10 and, you know, to be able to rally all the way back to lose 41, 33 with the ball. Yeah. you know, going in, you know, to be able to rally all the way back to lose 4133 with the ball. |
| 1:13.2 | Yeah. |
| 1:18.0 | You know, going in, you know, with the last drive to potentially tie the game. |
| 1:48.0 | Now, Eric, one thing I wanted to ask you about that is I noticed on the internet, like, a lot of, like, there was a lot of, we never used to see this type of fight out of the lines. I don't know. Did you see a lot of that too? The extra fight, like the more. The extra fight, the comeback. Yeah. But we've seen this for years, you know. It's a different version of it because it's a different quarterback. but like Stafford was often in these positions where they'd get behind and then they'd have to rally back, you know, like, I don't know, there's not a lot out of the ordinary. |
| 1:52.7 | Well, I think the difference for me is that you could see, I think you could point to Stafford |
| 2:00.2 | being the catalyst previously whereas without |
| 2:03.1 | him we know where's what is the catalyst for this comeback right and i think with stafford gone |
| 2:08.7 | most people are pointing towards uh dan campbell as being the catalyst for that right like where did the |
| 2:14.6 | motivation come from to to find that? And I don't know. |
