I want to begin today by talking about Carson Beck, partially because that's what Kirby Smart

spent a lot of time in his weekly press conference talking about yesterday.

And also partially because I made a pretty big blunder yesterday.

Now, listen, I am far from a perfect person.

I make mistakes all the time.

But we intended to do a segment on Beck at the

end of yesterday's show. Frankly, a lot going on. We kind of ran a little long. At the end, I just

completely blew right past what we had planned on doing with Carson Beck, closed out the show.

We were pretty long as it was. So perhaps it was better to save it for today anyway. But some of what we're going to do

right now we intended to do in yesterday and just kind of blew right past it. But it's also worth

kind of building on a little bit because Kirby Smart was talking more about Carson Beck yesterday too.

And I think it's important probably to kind of look and see where things stand with George's

new starting quarterback

after three games on the job.

And I want to go back to Saturday to begin this.

Kirby's immediate evaluation of how well he thought backplay in a game in which Georgia

only scored 24 points was losing at halftime, down 14 to 3 3 there some stalled offensive drives kind of leading

to that first half deficit but overall kirby's evaluation of carson was positive on Saturday
