If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals of achievements.

I talked about faith, passion, obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around,

and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

So that which gets praised, gets repeated.

Roseine today, Sam, we've got a special episode as we're joined by John Sostick and his daughter, Callie, as we're here at the PGC Glacier Clinic in Chicago. and John, first of a long-time listener of the Hustler, of the Hustle, not the Hustler, of the Harwood Hustle, which we appreciate that. All right. First time I'm calling her. And then, but here's the dynamic, okay, which got me. So John is here, and he comes to all these clinics, and he takes it all in. And it was different this year because he brought his family. So he's down here doing the clinic. His family's hanging out

up in the hotel and kind of doing all that. But he was walking through the halls with his daughter

who's 14 years old, eighth grader. And we start chatting and John coaches his daughter. Okay. And there's a lot

of people in that situation where the dad is coaching their son or daughter.

And I'm always intriguing.

We started getting into some conversations in the hallway about that dynamic and if the daughter likes it and all that.

Listen, because knowing there's a lot of coaches that are in that situation, Sam, you may be in that situation soon.

I've got, you know, one and one on the way, so I may be in that situation soon. I said, let's get together and let's talk about this. So first of all, John and Calle, thanks so much for joining us. We appreciate you all coming on. Thanks for having us. This is a privilege. This is an honor and a privilege. Awesome. It is our pleasure.

Sam, what about, what comes to mind when you think about the

dynamic of like the dad coaching the daughter? Yeah, well, dad or mom coaching, you know,

daughter or son, for that matter. You know, I've got it, so I've got eight and six year old

boys. I've got a little 22-month-old girl. And I've- So they've got eight and six year old boys i got a little 22 month old girl and

i've so they've already nicknamed with a basketball nickname k g yeah katie grace we call her kg

but uh you know i i've coached my sons in soccer and football now and um i was a filling coach
