Hello, everybody. Welcome to The Nothing Is Wasted Podcast. I'm Aubrey.

And I'm Davey. And we are continuing our Widowhood series. I'm so, I just love the series.

I love the series. I love it so much. Yep. Mostly because we just have these incredible

guests that, I mean, over the years, we've been able to get connected with so many widows

and widowers. And now we've just, there's almost like a community of folks out there,

like a tribe that we're connected to. And so as we were kind of curating for this series,

we were thinking, you know, what could we, like, who are the people that we could bring

on to this series? And we were suggested by one of my best friends now, Daniel Brooker.

I feel like Daniel Brooker is one of my best friends now because we've heard him, like,

I feel like he's just sort of like in the air at Nothing Is Wasted. He gets brought up

all the time, all the time. Yes, absolutely. And he's a very, very good friend, very good

friend. Listen, I mean, I didn't, I haven't shared this anywhere else, but the, you know,

several weeks ago when the trial was rule to mistrial, Daniel's essentially surprised me

by coming up to be with me in the courtroom. Stop. For those days that I was testifying.

He was like, I don't want you to be there by yourself. And man, when I got that text message,

I just about lost it. I mean, just weep. I mean, I'm hearing that makes me want to cry.

That is a good friend right there. Those are good friends who show up for you in those moments.

And Daniel's also a great friend and that he knows really great people. And one of those is
