It's like, no, no, no whenever people are putting like tweets and stuff up they're like, it's race week. That never used to be a thing. No. I think that's probably because you get a lot of motor racing general motor racing Twitter accounts that do NASCAR as well as Formula One and every week in NASCAR it's fucking race week Right, okay 36 races in a season Yeah It's where Formula 1 will be one day I think it's to keep the interest Isn't it so that you don't fit It's always on a Monday Isn't it? You always see like Ferrari or someone on a war post it's race week well we've got a stupid

discussion about that would you like that would you like 30 Grand Prix no I don't think so

why I don't think it would be good for the sport I don't think you'd get for NASCAR no it's not

NASCAR's dying on its ass I don't think that having 30 races in a season would be good for the sport I think Isn't NASCAR still America's biggest most race in sport? Only because there's that many races No no no but popularity crowds of like 250,000 Yeah I don't think NASCAR are struggling at all You do what you do at the big places Daytona and Talladega. No, but I don't think they're struggling at all. I think they're doing really well. I think, yeah. In America, obviously. Yeah, I read something that was NASCAR, the racing is dying. The event's still an event. People go and have barbecues and beers and enjoy it. But I like that. I like the idea of these events where people just go and have a good time and stuff like that. It's like a festival. It doesn't have a big motor race. That doesn't have to be an anorak event where everyone sits looking at timesheets, time sheets. And the fact that it is, they're long, they're just ovals, it is the sort of thing you can check in and check out of, isn't it? Yeah, a little bit. Not my scene, but I can understand, as you say, like why so many people like... I'd like to go to one. Yeah, to experience it. Yeah, I think it's one of these things where it's probably better to be there than watching it on TV. Well, have you ever seen any of the pictures of people when they're right up against the guard around? The cars go around. The fucking speed of them is unbelievable. Yeah, and they shake. The grab rail shaking ridiculously. There was a really good one where there was a couple of people with cameras and stuff like when the cars went, cars went around it blew them over. Nice. And you go to that airport in the Caribbean and do that, can't you? Don't like planes. That would, that would probably be, but you swim to that airport in the Caribbean and do that. No, no, you can swim to that airport in Scotland that we were just looking at before we recorded. This is Martin. Yeah. That's the one in Caribbean. Yeah. Yeah. Jumbo Jets landing. There's people hanging on to the fence being blown horizontal. Not a lot to do in the Caribbean. No. Clearly not. To be fair, they're on the beach. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fine. So let's talk Formula One then.

But yeah, it's the start of upgrade season because we're heading into the European part

of the season now, so all the teams are getting the upgrades ready.

recording this podcast Jesus Christ Paul what was that that was the sound of the barrel being

scraped um but yeah also we're explaining that the Williams team or have they had a backlog

of things they had to do that they didn't get done before winter testing essentially. And they've cleared. Make a legal car for starters. And they've got, they've cleared the backlog of things and now they can start trying to bring updates through. So there's not, we're not going to see like a B-spec car, but there is going to be new bits coming to the car. They're still going to be at the back, but it's the beginning.
