And for the first time in a while, Scott Coleman is here. What's up, man?

First podcast of the new decade. Kind of exciting, kind of fun. Do you have a good holiday, Brad?

It was okay. Nothing terribly eventful. I had to do lots of basketball things because that's what

happens this time of year. I was in basketball mode for the most for the most part. And as people

are, I'm sure, they know this at this point in time. There isn't too much going on in baseball.

How was yours? I suppose we should just talk about the holidays because that's what people do and

there's something else to talk about. Scott. Yeah. No, yeah I mean it's for those don't know I live out here on the

west coast so it's you know we had I think Christmas day it was like 70 degrees here so um yeah

it's all good staying stayed in town and um as you said not a whole lot of actual baseball stuff

going on though for the most part front offices more or or less shut down the week of Christmas and New Year.

So that was to be expected every now and then you get a couple of signings just before the break, guys who want to get it resolved before the new year.

But it was to be expected, and hopefully, because now it's, believe it or not, we're

about six weeks away from pitchers and catchers reporting, which is crazy. So I think we're

going to see a lot of activity here pretty soon. Yeah, I like to peruse, you know, the headlines

every day or so, even in dead periods. And there's not that much going on in all of baseball.

There were some signings in the last week or so.

The Nats were pretty active.
