So why don't you go ahead and ask your question, Gabriel?

Sure. So I wanted to ask about how to study in a scholarship because we as international students, we often don't have this opportunity too much and we have to take the most of it if we have it.

So, for example, we were talking about communication skills, how other important qualities we should demonstrate during our project.

And also, maybe if you want to elaborate about importance of previous research experience in

the ERAs application.

So I would say I'm going to answer like divided parts if that's okay with you.

So I would say like for you to shine during a clerkship, you want to make sure that you are

the first one there, the last one to leave.

You want to be the best team player.

So, like, cannot emphasize enough how much, how helpful it is when someone offers to call a

consulting service, for example, when an intern has to write 12 notes,

put orders for all of those people, if you're like the student saying like, hey, can I make,

can I call the whatever, pulmonary team and discuss the case with them? Dude, yes, extra points.

And then that intern is going to send an email to the PD is going to send an email to the

attending rotating with you. Again, those little things, they add up. To study during the clerkship,

I would make sure that you ask to take care of two, three patients and know everything about all

of their problem list. See your clerkship, if you can get one, as the month that you're going to be studying when everyone else is sleeping,
