Summary

In the early morning hours of February 14, 2000, for reasons unknown, Asha Degree went missing from Shelby, North Carolina. She was only nine years old. Asha packed her backpack and left her home and was seen walking along Highway 18 despite the heavy rain and wind that night. The following morning, her parents discovered her missing from her bedroom and she has never been seen or heard from since.

What's up you guys it's Andrea. I just wanted to hop on here quickly and make a

0:06.0

slight correction to today's episode. Some of you have already heard it so you

0:11.7

may not get the opportunity to hear this correction but those of you that

0:16.1

have not I just wanted to say that I obviously meant no disrespect to Aisha or

0:23.8

her family but it has been brought to my decision that her name is actually

0:29.2

pronounced Aisha. Now when doing my research I actually heard it pronounced

0:34.2

three different ways it was Aisha, Aisha which is how I pronounced it and then

0:40.7

Aisha. So I heard it three pronounced three different ways and I went with

0:47.9

the way that I heard the most and that was Aisha but I had quite a few people

0:53.3

reach out and let me know that it is in fact Aisha. So my apologies for getting

1:00.3

that incorrect. It was not intentional and it was not for lack of caring. We always

1:06.4

accept constructive criticism especially when it comes to

1:11.3

pronunciations of victims' names because that is very important to us. At the

1:17.9

end of the day we are human, we make mistakes and I want to thank you guys for

1:24.0

always giving us grace.

1:27.5

What's up you guys? I'm Andrea and I'm Haley and you're listening to Inhuman

Welcome back everybody. Happy Thursday or whatever day you're listening to this

1:59.3

online. So the case I'm sharing with you guys today is one that you've likely

2:06.3

heard before but I'm sharing it because this sweet little girl is unfortunately

2:12.4

still missing and she's been missing so long that she would actually no longer be

2:18.9

a little girl. In fact she would be an almost 33 year old woman. Wow that is
