Sean, I'm so glad you're here. I know you used to serve Unbelief Team, so we crossed paths, or you still

serve on Believe Team. We'd crossed paths for a little bit, a short season when I was there,

and now you're really involved with Better Man. That's where you've jumped in. You've spent some time

and summit. But tell me a little bit about how long you've been at Watermark and how you

got here. Okay. I've been at Watermark since about 2009. I was crushed in spirit and broken

hearted and discovered Watermark during a really tough season, and it's been a wonderful experience

ever since then. That's amazing. I love that. Well, I say we just

jump right into Acts 12. How's that sound? That sounds terrific. Okay. We're in Acts Chapter 12.

Tell our listeners, remind us what's happening, kind of sum it up for us, and how can we live

differently because of what we read? Well, this is Peter's miraculous escape from prison.

And what stuck out so much to me in this

particular chapter is the fact that the church was praying for him. And this really happened. As I

wrote in the text version, these events really happened in that miraculously Peter was delivered from prison. The chains fell off. He was surrounded

by guards, locked up with them, chained to them, and an angel appeared and released him. And what I

wanted to point out, or what was so significant to me, was the fact that prayer

is effective and does get answered. How have you seen that play out in your life, that prayer is

effective and it gets answered? Well, I've been in Men's Summit since about 2010, and it has become my

greatest asset in terms of the ability to lift one another up in prayer.
