while but here we are. Yeah, I think start the podcast on a

on a bit of a sad note.

It's been a kind of rough month on it.

We've had some bad news with Nico portal who was

a DS who's well I've done every grand tour I've done he's been there and

being an you know super important part of that puzzle, whether it be, you know, in the

highs of pulling on the front, doing a great job, seeing the guys with the yellow, but also more memorably for me like the first Welter ever did I stopped and he was

second yes in that and he was the one who I got in the car with and just that you

know you're down in the dumps and he was there to kind of put

you know put his arm around you and I think this you often remember the bad times like

that where Diaz is there and Nico was there at that point to kind of cheer me up and obviously he passed away

what was it now ten days ago something like that went to his funeral last week

a great guy he'll be missed, wouldn't he?

Yeah, definitely.

I think, you know, just talking about his funeral, there was, for sure there was easily

over a thousand people there.

And that in itself speaks volumes about Nico. But yeah I

think just on a professional level with me you know from 2013 I've done every tour with the team

since and he was being number one yes and everyone and but then obviously not just

that but you know Paronese
