Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 2180. I've been thinking a lot

lately about leaders and creating the right conditions for success. There are so many meta studies

around the importance of creating conditions for success. And essentially when you have the right

conditions, it shifts behaviors and impacts performance and impacts innovation. There's so many

studies around that. And if you're a leader or a coach and you're trying to set the right

conditions for your team, here are four things that

take into consideration. Number one is P. P stands for practices. This is the way you run your

program. It's the habits, the routines, the standards that you all live by. And you want to make

sure that they are clear, they're consistent, they're simple, and they're predictable.

You want your players and your people to walk into the building knowing that we have a stable organization.

The things that we do are going to be consistent and stable over time, no matter the environment or the highs and the lows of your situation.

The R stands for resources.

This isn't just equipment and budget, but it's also time, it's knowledge, it's the people in your organization, giving the other coaches, giving your staff, giving athletes what they need

to grow and not just to do things, just to do things,

but it's actually helping them become better. And sometimes the best resources you can give

them is just space to breathe, to think, to fail, to learn, to grow, to think, to, to to think to share their ideas and to communicate and so

going to have more confidence they're going to have more trust they're going to have more identity and unity with the people and the organization.

And it's important as a leader to remember that your presence and your belief in people and in the team is a powerful resource to help them believe in themselves.
