try to get under your skin but their words only have power if you give it to them being easily

offended drains your energy and it keeps you distracted.

A phrase that I've been thinking about a lot lately is being unoffendable. And when you're

unoffendable, that makes you dangerous because it means you're in control. It means you're locked in

and you are focused on what is productive.

Or in other words, what actually really matters.

And then the question becomes, okay, how do you do it?

Before you react, you want to pause and you want to ask yourself, is there another way to look at this? Because the reality is most people aren't

trying to attack you. They're just speaking from their own perspective, their own experiences,

and projecting their own insecurities on you. But when you assume positive intent, you take back control.
