As I mentioned in the intro, this week's a little different. We're going to talk with

Stephanie Tate, who's one of my favorite people. Stephanie probably doesn't know this, but as I started confronting and becoming aware of

ableism in my life, and then further down the road became aware that I'm an adult with

autism spectrum disorder, Stephanie's work was one of the go-to sources for me to learn about

Abilism and its impacts on society and learn how disability

communities are structured and how disability advocacy happens and I have

been digitally following her for some time and if you are not familiar with

Stephanie I'm sorry but you will be now.

Stephanie is an author, speaker, and disability advocate and trauma survivor,

and she aims to do what she believes is swirly lacking in our trending conversations around Christianity,

to partner sound theology and practice with the unashamed acceptance of struggle in the present tense.
