Ginger's credits as an actor include Marvel's She-Hulk, CBS's True Lies, Showtime's Kidding, and I'm Dying Up Here, and HBO's Togetherness and Room 104. This interview is a bit different from a lot of the

interviews we do here because we

naturally focus a bit more on acting.

But it was such an interesting conversation because Ginger is so honest and she's just such a

dynamo.

We talk about being a woman in the very male-dominated improv world of the early 2000s, the

politics of improvising on set and in auditions, how her

high school speech and debate background trained her, what it was like pitching a show about

mental health at a time when that wasn't really part of the national conversation.

She's got a wild story about that. And just why writing this show meant so much to her. I think you're going to like this one.
