I'm a little bit late to the party this morning. Little bit bit late probably won't mean anything to you as it's not a live thing. It is a podcast but I stayed up for the England-Netherlands semi-final of the European Championships last night. Stayed up for it. I know. It's early for most people but for me it's late. So I was a little bit later out with the dogs this morning wet and miserable again here.

And then I had to make an emergency dash to the local supermarket for the 6am opening time, which I did.

So I'm a little bit later than normal apologies for that.

Congratulations to England. I think England just about deserved to beat the Netherlands. They were

outstanding in the first half, although they were awarded a very dubious penalty by VAR. It wasn't

a penalty. England shouldn't have been awarded a penalty, but there you are.

It was after the Dutch had taken a 1-0 lead. But I think overall England deserved it.

And I'm happy they're through to face Spain in the final this coming Sunday.

I suppose it isn't that relevant to it, but it's a

terrible tragedy, nonetheless. We'll talk about it. And also the papers full the front pages

of England glory. Astin Villa striker, Ollie Watkins, came off the bench to replace Harry

Kane to score the winning goal in the last minute and it was a
