This week on the podcast, the fellas continue their breakdown of the entire 2021 NFL Draft class, this time focusing on the defensive side of the ball. For each position, the guys discuss each of the Top-100 players in that group and answer the following questions:

  • Would the Lions consider taking a top player at that position?
  • Where is the value in this group?
  • Who are Erik and Joe’s favorites?
  • Who could the Lions get late?

Eric, last week, we talked about the offense and what the Lions are going to be looking to do on draft days one, two, and three.

Today we're going to do that with the defense.

Yeah, you know, I think the defense is the biggest problem area, right?

I think everyone agrees that the defense was pretty decimated over the last couple of years with Patricia.

He really, you know, they built a defense around a certain scheme and then that scheme failed.

on the defensive line as well, maybe some cornerback depth, even though it's getting better,
