It is Friday, June 21st, the longest day of the year, supposedly.

Somebody sent me a message yesterday,

saying that Solstice was yesterday, the 20th, that it had come early, but I never know.

I never know anything about these things. I'm terrible when it comes to that, but it is Friday.

I've had a pretty awful start to my weekend. I was, I got back about 45 minutes ago from the park with the puppies. So got back, came around the corner and there was a

gentleman, not so much of a gentleman, sitting in a car, engine on, engine idling, a diesel car

on our street, which is a little side street,

a little residential street. So as you would do, and as I have done previously, I tapped on

the window and politely asked the gentleman to turn off his engine. It's very loud. This is a residential

street. You shouldn't be sitting there with your engine on. And he gestured

at his phone and said, oh, I'm doing this. I said, find it. None of my business, what you're doing.

And it's none of my business that you are here. But please turn off your engine. And then he became

abusive. This guy would have been, I'd say in his 50s Asian chap just started being abusive

but what are you being abusive

what are you shouting at me for I said to him

turn off your engine

either drive away or turn off your engine

it couldn't be any simpler
