This is the story of Lionel Load, a commoner from Australia, and Albert George, who was fortunately

the second son of George V of the United Kingdom.

Fortunate because although speeches and public appearances will be required of him, they won't be as many as the first son Edward,

who becomes Edward VIII of the United Kingdom.

Albert George has a speech impediment, a stutter, problem-speaking, speaking of public and very shy,

and he tries many different things, many different techniques.

He sees a lot of different people, but one day he and Lionel Load get together.

Now Lionel Load is not an official doctor.

He doesn't have a degree, but he has spent his life, and he has made it his life's work,

helping people with their speech problems for different reasons.

Mostly after people come back from World War I who have been gassed and things like that.

So they work together for years, and Lionel Load's approach helps Albert.

It actually helps him to the point where Albert doesn't need to see him for about two years.

They stay friends, but he doesn't need his services, so everything's going along fine.
