Summary

Do you ever wish you could reimagine badly-written Muslim characters on TV and in movies? This week, Ahmed and BuzzFeed's Abid Anwar come up with some corrective fan fiction for an episode of a beloved 90s sitcom with a problematic character. Then, BuzzFeed UK writer and DJ Khaled expert Gena-mour Barrett joins Ahmed to discuss their favorite Asahd memes.

So this episode is going to be a bit of a pop culture smorgasbord.

So first off, we'll be debuting a new segment called Do Better, where we fixed your problematic faves.

In this case, we're going to correct some wrongs in a famous 90s sitcom with Abid Unwer from BuzzFeed.

And then later on in the episode, we're going to call over to the BuzzFeed UK office and talk with Gina Moore Barrett for a Muslim meme update.

So while we're on break, we were like brainstorming a bunch of ideas, and we realized one huge thing that we talked about once on the show and didn't bring up again

but thought we could do continually was look at the way some, I would say, immigrant and
