Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement, and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson and today we are going to be going over the gift of faith and the one

that we need to give to our children. And I, this is a very important foundational point as we

consider the ministry of motherhood because as we look at the life of Christ, which is what we're

doing in the ministry of motherhood, we have to understand that Jesus modeled what it looked like to

believe in his father, to pray to his father, to give his father's words to them. He was the exact

representation of his father while he was on the earth. It tells us in Hebrews. But the other thing was

he was encouraging his disciples to live by faith, to step out in faith, to step out on the water

when he said, Peter, come to me. And when he said go into the world, he was saying, you're going to

have to live your life by faith and make decisions by faith in order to take my mandate of reaching the

world for Christ. And every Christian, every person who believes in Christ, must understand that our

salvation isn't just about getting our little tiptoes into heaven, but our salvation is about leaving

one world, the dark world, and entering another world, the world of the spirit of life, of our

relationship with Christ, of beauty. And so this whole area that we come into today is probably

the most important foundation that we can give to our children. As I look back and over my years

in my own life, I realize that there are two little stories I want to tell, because I think that

whether we are a discipling woman or men, or whether we are, I'm talking about the men who

listen to my podcast, or whether we are trying to influence our children, or whether we are in

a relationship with a non-believer, and we want them to understand what it means to know Christ,
