Joshua Reed Ekel. This guy is the head of Project Liberal. It's a Twitter account that randomly popped

up on my feet a few weeks back and ever since it has I've been really enjoying it. So he would describe himself as a liberal obviously may even describe

himself as a classical liberal but I don't think he means it in the Dave Rubin kind of way

where he just says that and then he's just a Republican. In fact the majority of his

tweets are just flat out anti-Republican and I'm really interested to talk to him

because in this upcoming election with Kamal and Tim Waltz versus Trump

advance there's a real question here of can you and Tim Waltz versus Trump advance.

There's a real question here of can you unite liberals and leftist to defeat Trump?

And then also, where do we disagree?

Because I think he'll have a bunch of tweets where I love them I'll steal the

memes and all that stuff but then he'll randomly quote like Milton Friedman and

I'm like what the fuck is it like where did this come from right I'm interested to get into it with him. There's a lot I mean it's always just interesting to like

pro someone's political philosophy especially someone whose whole identity is around that and has

clearly thought a lot about it but yeah yeah, I'm curious how he views

some of the Biden and Harris shifts a little bit away from neoliberalism. There's also, you know, the dynamic in France, which is both encouraging in terms of that like anti right wing

coalition the left and the liberals coming together to defeat marine lapen but then on the

other hand once that happened and the far left got the most votes then

Macron's like no I'm not going to let you form a government I'd

actually rather work with the right wing which is you know one of the dangers and

one of the warnings is that actually liberals oftentimes would prefer to make common ground with the right than the left

so a lot to explore that that should be interesting.
