I'm sure you're well this morning.

It's overcast but mild here in Salford in the

northwest. 30 days to go to the general election July 4th. I'm doing my thumbs in my head.

26 days and then 4. Yeah, 30 days. And the paper's dominated by election coverage. I'll take you through the front pages of the UK

dailies in a moment and then I'll have a look at some of the more interesting stories inside. My name is

Richie Allen. But before that, let me suggest that, let me tell you there's a film you should avoid watching.

There is a film you should avoid like the plague.

The Mrs and myself, Monday is film night.

Monday is film night.

It's a kind of a stay-at-home date night where we sit down and we watch a film together on the sofa, often surrounded by

the dogs. And I was really, really excited to see a new film called The First Omen, a prequel to

the Omen series. Remember the Omen, 1976, directed by Richard Donner, a question people often

struggle with when it comes to table quizzes. Who directed the Omen? Because Richard Donner

directed the Goonies famously as well, and I think he might have directed a film called Inner Space.

The Omen trilogy was a great series of films.

The first one was an epic.

Gregory Peck, of course, Lee Remick, amazing movie.
