Hey, everyone. We just wanted to say before we get into this week's episode, first of all, we're recording on Sunday, February 27th, and the situation in Ukraine is changing rapidly hour by hour. So we don't know what's going to be happening by the time Wednesday rolls around and you are listening to this. But we want to express

just our deep support for the people of Ukraine right now, for everybody who is fighting,

for everyone who is being forced to find refuge in other countries for all the brave Russians who are being

arrested every day in their own country for protesting. This has been, there is no one, I think,

that this hasn't touched in a way this past week. And as a queer podcast, we wanted to also

specifically send out our love and support to the queer community of Ukraine because the

democratic liberties that they have been enjoying the past several years are under threat by a country and by a dictator who is very homophobic and their way of life could change and likely would change drastically with this. And we just, we are holding all of you in our

hearts. And if any of you out there listening would like to donate to help, there are numerous ways to do so.

But one of the most effective ways that I could think of at this moment is to donate directly to the Ukrainian armed forces.

We are not the rest of the world at this point is not offering direct military aid.

And so this every bit helps.
