Hi everyone! You're getting me giggling today because this is my third attempt with joy to start

this very important podcast and sometimes my tongue is tied and I can't even say anything

intelligible. We can't remember what the two blessed support commandments are.

Not easy. So true. But anyway, this is our third attempt to tell you something very important.

But today we're coming to this all the very specific gifts that I've talked about last

week in the ministry of motherhood. The ministry of motherhood, as I mentioned last week,

is really looking at the life and the story of Christ and pondering how did he so impact

his disciples. What did he do in such a way that they were willing to follow him their

whole lives and even to sacrifice their lives for his cause? Because in the end, the most

important thing, the most important task that God has given to his parents is to pass on

that baton of faith to the next generation, your children in your own home. And yet, I

think that it's so easy for us to come to these issues, the gifts that we want to give to

our children by looking at formulas or by trying to give them some kind of immoralistic,

just be good and do these things and that's what my goal is. But I really realized even

talking with Joy and Joel in the past week and they're always things happening to us

in our lives with friends that I can't tell you how profoundly important this gift of

giving your children the gift of grace is, the way that you see your children and see

other people and see anybody in any relationship that you have, the grid through which you see
