here in the great city of Salford. Without more messing around,

let's have a look at the front pages of the dailies here in the UK.

And today I'm going to begin with the Metro.

Now, you won't be surprised that the front pages of the UK papers today are, every one of them,

is leading with and dealing with the infected blood scandal,

which killed 3,000 people or more and affected 30,000. We've spoken about it on the Richie Allen

show and on this podcast before. Let me just read these headlines quickly. The Metro has a cheeky

pun. I don't think there's anything funny about the report which was finally published yesterday.

40 years of bloody cover-up is the headline. That's a pretty bad pun, isn't it? 40 years of bloody cover-up,

chilling verdict on NHS catastrophe. The Daily Express, this is a day of shame for British

state. Those were the words of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who delivered a speech upon, after the report was published yesterday.

Shame for British state.
