with the Daily Mail today. Now you'll be unsurprised that every newspaper in this country is leading

with the assassination attempt on the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, who was

gunned down, as they say. The media, he was shot several times, having attended a meeting

yesterday afternoon. So I'll go through these headlines. The Daily Mail Europe on edge after pro-Russian Slovak PM is gunned down.

The mail front page says as Ukraine conflict escalates fears that Putin will exploit attack to destabilise NATO nation.

That's all very self-explanatory.

There's also a photograph of a woman on the front page of the Daily Mail.

It turns out to be the wife of the golfer Rory McElroy.

He announced, didn't he, in recent days, that he has separated from his wife

of seven years. Her name is Erica, and she's pictured without her 500,000 pounds engagement ring,

Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Five hundred thousand pounds on a ring. You're kidding me.

The Times.

The Times doesn't lead with the shooting of Robert Fico.

It does have a side-heading on the front page about it.
