I first read his book, London, the novel, maybe 10 years ago. And then he had another one,

Sarum, about the area around Salisbury. And I kind of need to ration my reading of him because

I just love him so much.

Sort of like Haruki Murakami, like I read him and it's like chocolate and it's like,

And I just finished his book on the history of the New Forest.
