Can you talk about what led you to write these two?

First, let me just say what it's an honor for me to be with you.

Politicians are not known, and I don't say this as an insult because they have this about

their job.

But generally, they don't think as much as they act.

You're a thinker, and it is a joy to be with you.

I wrote that column because something happened to me in the last year, which I can't believe

happened.
